Installation

Installing in New Construction

The installation of our ASP System involves 2 basic steps:

  1. Pour the concrete pit
  2. Install the ASP System

We send your our concrete pit plans and you forward them onto your building contractor. Once the concrete is poured and there is a roof on the structure, we can begin our installation (takes about 3 days to complete).

Installing in an Existing Car Wash Bay

Converting an existing Car Wash Bay to an ASP System is a great way to diversify your services. Customers will come in for a Car Wash and see that you have a Oil/Lube bay and out of convenience, are likely to give you that business too.

We generally recommend converting at least 2 bays if you have the facility to support it. A single bay conversion can lead to service bottlenecks that a 2-bay setup would alleviate.

Here the basic conversion steps:

  1. Depending on the length of your Car Wash concrete pad, you may have to extend it. Typically a car wash bay concrete pad is about 17′ to 20′ – adding another 10′ gives you enough room.
  2. Enclose the new bay extension. The cost for this will vary depending on the materials chosen and is typically between $12,000 and $18,000, depending on the materials chosen.
  3. Cut a hole in the existing concrete and pour the ASP System concrete foundation
  4. Install our ASP System

Installing in an Existing Basement System

A basement system can be easily converted to our exclusive ASP System. Because not all basement system installations are identical, the specific details of the conversion are adapted to each individual environment.

Installing in an Existing Shallow Pit System

An existing shallow pit system can be easily converted to our exclusive ASP system. The conversion process can vary depending on how the shallow pit system was installed.

Here are the basic conversion steps:

  1. Remove the existing pit system and equipment
  2. Break out and remove the existing concrete
  3. Pour a new concrete box (it’s deeper and a bit wider than typical shallow pit system boxes)
  4. Install our ASP System
